Terrazzo is derived from the Italian to designate any mosaic flooring by embedding small pieces of marble or coloured stone coming from working waste recycling in a cement compound followed by polishing the surface. This material is extremely durable, and starts its life in a slab format, so can be cut and manufactured into various sizes / shapes / special pieces such as vanity units, to add a seamless feel to any project.
